Plainfield Licensed School Psychologist Wanted!

This fulltime position is ideal for a compassionate studentcentered professional who is committed to fostering academic emotional and behavioral growth in schoolaged learners. As a School Psychologist you will play a pivotal role in promoting student wellbeing and shaping a supportive inclusive educational environment.

Role Highlights:
  • Deliver individualized and small group counseling to support students navigating emotional social or academic challenges.
  • Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational evaluations to identify student needs and inform interventions.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with diverse learning needs.
  • Remain informed on the latest research tools and methodologies in school psychology to enhance student outcomes.
  • Track and analyze student progress to refine support strategies and drive measurable improvements.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create cohesive studentcentered support plans.
  • Engage with teachers families and school staff to implement evidencebased interventions that promote academic achievement and overall wellbeing.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a graduate degree (Master s or Doctorate) in School Psychology or a closely related field along with a valid Illinois license or certification as a School Psychologist. Prior experience working in educational settings with diverse student populations is highly preferred. A strong commitment to collaboration equity and continuous professional development is essential for success in this role.
