Job Description
This is a remote position.
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer (CI/CD and Go) to join our team. This is a handson role for someone who is excited to build robust scalable systems and isn t afraid to dive into both greenfield development and legacy modernization. Experience with AWS Glue or similar ETL/data tools is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Architect develop and maintain cloudnative applications and services.
- Analyze and enhance existing software systems for performance scalability and reliability.
- Write clean testable and maintainable code in a variety of languages and frameworks.
- Work closely with clients and internal stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to a collaborative engineering culture.
- Troubleshoot debug and resolve technical issues across environments.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or a related field.
- 5 years of software development experience.
- Strong handson experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g. Python JavaScript/TypeScript Ruby Go).
- Familiarity with SQL and relational database design.
- Experience with a modern frontend framework (React Angular Vue etc..
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs and serviceoriented architecture.
- Strong problemsolving skills and ability to work independently.
Bonus Points:
- Experience with AWS Glue Step Functions or other data integration/ETL tools.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC) experience using Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Consulting or clientfacing experience.
