Job Description
This is a remote position.
We are seeking a Test Automation & Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. As Software Automation/Test Engineer you are a highly skilled programmer who is responsible for analyzing the system and defining the automation scope automation approach framework implement and drive the automation till completion. You will also assist in developing strategies test plans to improve tests throughout robustness and to lower the cost/time needed to develop software features and processes for new product releases.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop test automation system.
- Design and implement sophisticated automated tests for software and firmware.
- Improve test automation scripts and coverage.
- Implement and execute functional tests unit tests stress tests and performance tests.
- Create or automate test protocols to be used for obtaining objective evidence of software risk mitigations.
- Create or automate test protocols to be used for formal software verification.
- Create or automate test protocols to be used for regression testing of software release candidates.
- Execute tests manually according to the documented protocols when necessary.
- Document and file bug reports in JIRA.
- Track and report test results according to the documented protocols.
- Develop and execute software automated tests.
- Participate in software build and release activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor s degree in engineering.
- Proficient in Javascript.
- Experience testing complex software applications especially utilizing ReactJS and JavaScript.
- Experience developing and automating test suites and using any of the following tools and frameworks (protractor jasmine cucumber etc.
- Handson experience in the preparation of Test Plans Test Cases Test Reports Requirement Traceability Matrix.
- Expertise in performing Functional Testing Integration Testing and Regression testing.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient understanding of crossbrowser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
- Outstanding partnership skills.
Skills:
- Quality Assurance and Testing.
- Automation Tools: Protractor Selenium Jenkins.
- Testing Tools: Cucumber Browser Stack Sauce Labs.
- Knowledge of unit test libraries like Karma Jasmine Jest etc.
- Proficient understanding of web markup including HTML5 XML XPath CssSelector.
- Knowledge of spoken and written English.
