Job Description
Business Analysts seek to understanding business processes and determining business requirements for systems.
The Digital Products and Platforms Branch are looking for a lead BA to join the Export Market Development Grants (EMDG) refocus team.
The Lead BA will work closely with key internal stakeholders to deliver projects in EMDG Program of work. The role will also work closely with the Solution Architect Product Manager Delivery Manager BA developers and testers withing a multidisciplinary team (MDT) to ensure the solutions are designed and delivered on time and to a high standard.

Key duties and responsibilities
The Lead BA will be responsible for:
- Working closely with the EMDG refocus team to ensure requirements are well understood solutions tested technical issues recorded and tracked changes implemented and business objectives met.
- Facilitating workshops and other collaboration or research activities with internal and external stakeholders to meet outcomes such as identifying pain points and designing solutions and opportunities for improvement.
- Producing artefacts as required to assist teams to understand the problem and design an appropriate solution. This may include user stories journey maps blueprints personas functional requirement specifications.
- Provide input into a solution design that considers enterprise architecture security information and data management to resolve complex issues for both near term business objectives and predicted future needs.
Criteria
The buyer has specified that each candidate must provide a one page pitch to address all criteria specified. This is equal to 5000 characters.
Essential criteria
1. Demonstrated experience (at least 5 years) in business analysis.
2. Highly developed stakeholder management negotiation and problemsolving skills.
3. Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to convey information clearly and to listen and respond to others appropriately.
4. Experience producing analysis and project artefacts such as process maps functional and nonfunctional requirements user stories acceptance criteria and business cases.
Desirable criteria
1. Experience in Microsoft Dynamics CRM 365
2. Experience in Miro and Microsoft Azure DevOps or other similar tools
3. Experience in Axure RP or other similar prototyping tools
Additional requirements
1. Candidates Submitted MUST HOLD a current minimum Baseline clearance
2. One page resume would be preferred.
Essential criteria 1. A track record of delivering technology products in large organisations 2. A demonstrated understanding of what makes for a great developer experience for external users 3. Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams that follow agile and user-centred design practices 4. Experience working on large Government transformation programs highly regarded Desirable criteria 1. Knowledge, experience of, and relationships with the agriculture technology industry 2. Delivery of technology to support regulatory decision-making processes 3. Experience delivering to the Australian Government Digital Service Standard
