The Leasing and Site Administrator will provide support to the National Leasing and Site Manager and wider Property Team to ensure the effective management of St Johns leased properties and facilities:
- Working collaboratively with the National Leasing and Site Manager St John colleagues regional teams and Area Committees and external parties including Landlords Landlords solicitors contractors and other property professionals this role ensures the appropriate management and implementation of all leasing and site related processes and activities.
- This position will ensure that all property projects related to leasing acquisition and disposal are supported to comply with applicable local and national legislation organisation policy and best practice standards and that any issues are expeditiously and appropriately addressed.
- Act as the first point of contact for all minor lease related calls and queries assisting internal customers (including Area Committees and St John staff) to ensure minor issues are fixed in a timely manner while responding to all requests promptly politely and effectively in accordance with St Johns Core Values.
- Assist with the preparation of business cases board papers and the legal documentation process for lease actions including lease renewals lease variations rent reviews new leases lease expiries and exits and land acquisitions/disposal.
- Assist with ensuring all financial payments (rental operating expenses etc) made to Landlords in accordance with lease requirements are accurate and current and have appropriate automatic payment end dates.

To be successful in this role you will have:
- Qualification in a property or legal related field (desirable but not essential) with an understanding of real estate practices in New Zealand.
- Extensive experience in a property legal executive finance and/or facilities administration role with proven knowledge and experience in managing commercial property leases.
- Able to apply an uptodate knowledge of New Zealand property law building regulations property management systems and health and safety requirements using best practice approaches / advice to achieve required outcomes.
- Excellent and demonstrated listening written oral and interpersonal communication skills including report writing for Boards and Committees with the ability to facilitate group presentations and meetings.
- Excellent relationshipbuilding and maintenance skills with a strong customer focus and professional attitude as well as the commitment/ability to maintain the absolute confidentiality of information.
