You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailAs GROUPS & EVENTS MANAGER (M/F) you will report to the Director of Sales and will play a fundamental role in coordinating and managing all aspects of the events from initial planning to final ensuring the satisfaction of our clients and the success of the events.
You will be responsible for leading guiding and developing your team promoting a collaborative work environment as well as supervising the provision of the service ensuring compliance with standards and internal procedures in order to guarantee a quality and excellent service actively contributing and decisively to exceed customer expectations of a 5star hotel.
Qualifications :
WE LOOK FOR CANDIDATES WITH:
Proven experience in managing events in hotels or similar environments.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work under pressure and solve problems effectively.
Flexibility to work varied hours including weekends and holidays.
Fluency in Portuguese and English; other languages are an advantage.
Proven experience in team management.
Leadership skills and ability to motivate the team.
Ability to multitask and manage
Attention to detail and ability to anticipate customer needs.
Academic background in Hotel Management Tourism or related areas.
