Your role at Allergan Aesthetics 

At Allergan Aesthetics an AbbVie company we develop manufacture and market a portfolio of leading aesthetics brands and products. With our own research and development team focused on driving innovation in aesthetics were committed to providing the most comprehensive sciencebased product offerings available. More information can be found on goal of this role is the sales of diverse Allergan Aesthetics products in the Netherlands at the assigned group of customer accounts through building and maintaining effective longterm relationship with key seniorlevel decision makers and influencers. In this capacity the Account manager Aesthetics assumes the leadership role within its assigned accounts providing overall account leadership and coaching to the crossfunctional account team members and will bear full responsibility for building a plan for its assigned account as well as for organizing and deploying the appropriate resources within Allergan to drive value cocreation with customers and meet/exceed Allergan revenue targets. 

You will be working in the entire Netherlands and we therefor prefer a candidate that lives central in the country. 

As an Account Manager Aesthetics your primary objective is to drive sales of diverse Allergan Aesthetics products within the Netherlands. By establishing and nurturing longterm relationships with key seniorlevel decision makers and influencers you will play a pivotal role in expanding our customer base. As a leader within your assigned accounts you will provide overall account leadership and mentorship to crossfunctional team members. This includes developing a comprehensive account plan leveraging internal resources and collaborating with stakeholders to cocreate value and exceed revenue targets. 

Based in the Netherlands this role will require you to work across the entire country making it advantageous to be centrally located. 

 

Key responsibilities 

  • Drive effective account planning & management process by identifying key influencers within the account;  

  • Develop understanding of the customers business that includes their pressures and drivers objectives and plans as well as their related internal challenges and problems; 

  • Evaluate and assess customer needs and requirements on an ongoing basis and engage customer in collaborative discussions with crossfunctional team members to explore possibilities and potential areas for value cocreation; 

  • Builds and maintains effective longterm relationships and a high level of satisfaction with key seniorlevel decision makers and influencers at an assigned group of customer accounts that may include major strategic customers within a geographic or industry focus; 

  • Develop and implement strategies that differentiate Allergan from other providers in our markets while evolving our engagement with key accounts to higher levels of effectiveness; 

  • Identifies develops and typically closes new sales opportunities to reach the set KPIs. 


Qualifications :

  • Bachelors degree in biological sciences life sciences pharmacy businessrelated field or equivalent; 

  • Proven experience in a similar commercial role as a (key) account manager within the aesthetics medical devices or pharmaceutical industry. 

  • Strong business acumen and adept use of business tools demonstrating strategic and critical thinking capabilities; 

  • Proven track record of success in selling and exceptional presentation skills; 

  • Indepth knowledge of scientific therapeutic product and competitive aspects recognized as an expert resource by stakeholders; 

  • Proactive in identifying customer styles and behaviors adapting selling approaches accordingly. Utilizes findings to develop effective sales strategies offering innovative ideas and solutions to maximize business opportunities and address challenges. Contributes impactful ideas for the larger organization and anticipates/responds to changes; 

  • Ability to thrive in a matrix environment effectively navigating crossfunctional collaborations. 

  • Consistently displays positive behaviors and peer coaching through changing and challenging environments; 

  • You can demonstrate flexibility in handling new challenging assignments and priorities considering our fastpaced market. 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Dutch and English. 

  • Possession of a valid drivers license.
