Salary Range: $38000 $57000

As a TELUS Health Fitness & Wellness Consultant you will be responsible for teaching a variety of group exercise classes monitoring the fitness centre and promoting health and wellness among our client employee population.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fitness Programming and Instruction:
- Design and deliver virtual fitness and wellness programs
- Lead and schedule a variety of fitness classes
- Oversee gym usage ensuring member safety and providing expert guidance
- Facility Management:
- Supervise the corporate fitness and wellness center during operational hours
- Maintain equipment recommending replacements and new purchases as needed
- Ensure completion of GAQ health screening forms and waivers for all members
- Administrative Duties:
- Track and report monthly/quarterly usage statistics
- Monitor class participation rates
- Manage membership forms including annual waiver forms
- Wellness Program Delivery:
- Collaborate with organization stakeholders to assess wellness needs and createcustomized wellness strategies and programs
- Regularly communicate with client contacts and internal leadership to provide program updates share feedback and recommend improvements
- Integrate wellness initiatives into the culture of the business by working crossfunctionally with internal teams (Communications Sales Marketing)
Qualifications
What you will contribute:
- Education & Certifications:
- Kinesiology Fitness or Health Promotion degree/diploma
- Current group fitness instructor certification
- Current personal training certification
- Current CPR First Aid and AED certifications
- Core Competencies:
- Confident and composed during live meetings with clients
- Exceptional verbal and written communication
- Advanced organizational and time management abilities
- Proficient with technology and quick to learn new software
- Superior customer service skills
- Essential Qualities:
- Dynamic and energetic fitness professional
- Selfdriven with strong initiative
- Collaborative team player
- Passionate advocate for health and wellness
- Preferred:
- Corporate fitness and wellness industry experience
