Were looking for a solutions / sales engineer to join our team at Paragon. Youll work directly with our CEO as a technical expert for Paragons products in the sales organization. This is a dynamic crossfunctional role that spans sales engineering and support.
As a solutions engineer youll be paired with one or more Account Executives and be our customers primary technical point of contact throughout the sale process. Youll take a consultative approach with customers identifying pain points and designing proofs of concepts to help customers evaluate Paragon as a solution.
You will serve as a product and industry expert effectively describing and demonstrating our solution as well as promoting our vision and approach. You will be a trusted point of contact for our customers but you will also keep a focus on advancing the sales process.

Partner with Account Executives to drive new business throughout all stages of the sales process
Present technical demos of Paragon to prospects to convey the value of product features in the context of customer objectives
Drive the discovery process helping identify customer pain points and objectives
Design and guide technical proofs of concepts to help customers validate Paragon as a solution
Primary owner of all technical aspects of the sales cycle including activities such as responding to technical questions product demo and solution briefings deepdive tech discovery explanations of our system architecture and understanding of APIs and integrations
You Should Have
3 years of experience in a Technical Sales Role selling a developerfacing product to midmarket and/or enterprise customers
2 years experience in software development ideally in JavaScript with strong familiarity of web application and API architecture
Track record of outstanding sales performance consistently exceeding quota and ranking among top performers in previous sales roles
Excellent communication skills capable of effectively conveying complex technical concepts to both technical and nontechnical audiences
Customer Obsession consistently striving to anticipate customer needs and deliver excellent customer experiences
