Job Description
Position Title: Associate Scientist
Position Type: Temporary FullTime

About the role
Working within the Canadian potato product development team and in partnership with the commercial teams this role will be accountable for technical project management and project to contribute to the Canadian business growth. The role provides technical direction within project teams across functions and with stakeholders.
Period and location
- 1 year (contract)
- Position is based out of Florenceville NB. Canada.
Core Accountabilities/Outcomes:
- Developing new products from conception to launch
- Developing and managing timelines
- Providing technical direction to project teams and aligning with stakeholders for project reviews technical risk mitigation and project post mortem
- Collecting data and reporting on each testing phase in the development process
- Presenting formulation options and impacts to gain consensus on next steps
- Participating in idea generation sessions in the concept development process
- Testing and validating product attributes shelf life and plant scalability
Qualification
- Bachelor Degree in Food Science or related field considered an asset
- Experience in food product development or food science considered an asset

Compensation Package:$67200.00$89600.00CAD annually
The above reflects the target compensation range for the position at the time of posting. Hiring compensation will be determined based on experience skill set education/training and other organizational needs.
