Nursery Bright Horizons Wimbledon Day Nursery and Preschool
Salary Starting from 13.82 / 14.36 per hour (dependent on qualification/s and experience)

Were looking for a flexible working practitioner to join our Bright Flex / Bank team at our Wimbledon Nursery situated only 8 minutes walk from Wimbledon Station and south Wimbledon Tube Station. We are also fortunate to be right next to Merton Park Tram stop. Other Transport links include 3 bus routes which are the 152 to New Malden. 163 from Wimbledon to Morden and lastely the 164 which travels from Wimbledon to Sutton Station right outside our nursery. There are other routes from Wimbledon that include excellent transport links to Surbiton and Kingston using the 53 131 and also Putney which has its own 93 bus route from North Cheam to Putney. There are more routes servicing Tooting Mitcham Balham Clapham Streatham and Richmond. We do also have a car park for those employees wanting to drive.

The Role
Working as part of our Bright Flex / Bank team you can blend the convenience of bank/ agency work with the security and benefits of being an employee giving you the best of both worlds!
Within this role you will support colleagues with their delivery of the EYFS through engaging children in entertaining and educational activities encouraging their development towards key milestones. You will also work as part of a larger team to ensure all essential daytoday tasks are completed such as room tidying and preparation.
What were looking for
- Full and relevant Level 2/3 or above Early Years qualification
- Previous experience working with children Nursery Practitioner Nursery Nurse Early Years Educator Nanny Childminder or similar
- Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child
- Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults
- Sound understanding of child protection and safeguarding
- Ability to be flexible and adaptable
