The Opportunity
Join our dynamic team as aSenior Compliance Officerwithin the Group Compliance Office a pivotal part of our organization dedicated to supporting strategic projects on regulatory fronts and overseeing the management of compliance risks. The Group Compliance team plays a crucial role in enabling business growth while ensuring adherence to the highest standards of regulatory compliance. Our global Compliance Monitoring Programme is designed to maintain a robust control environment safeguarding the organization against compliance risks and fostering a culture of integrity and accountability.
Role Overview:
As a Senior Compliance Officer you will primarily focus on assisting the Move to Cloud (M2C) project which aims to migrate our existing platforms to Google Public Cloud (GCP). You will represent the Compliance Team in dedicated meetings and collaborate internally with the Compliance department and relevant subject matter experts to ensure regulatory topics are addressed properly. Your goal is to ensure that migration to GCP is conducted in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
DaytoDay Responsibilities
Strategic Regulatory Projects 70
- Lead and/or provide compliance support to strategic regulatory projects (e.g. DORA NIS2 PSD3/PSR1 Move to Google Cloud Platform AI Act) aimed at enabling business growth and innovation.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to identify regulatory opportunities and challenges providing expert guidance through support from subject matter experts to align business strategies with regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement compliance frameworks and policies that support strategic initiatives and ensure adherence to relevant laws and regulations.
- Act as a liaison with project governance bodies ensuring timely and effective communication and negotiation to facilitate business objectives.
- Monitor and analyse regulatory trends and changes advising multiple stakeholders including senior management on potential impacts and opportunities for the organization.
- Prepare and deliver training sessions to enhance regulatory awareness and understanding with the support from relevant subject matter experts as and when appropriate.
Compliance Monitoring Programme 30
- Contribute to the Compliance Monitoring Programme to ensure ongoing adherence to internal policies (Payment regulations Data Privacy Ethics/ABC Financial Crime Compliance) and external regulations.
- Conduct regular testing and assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of compliance controls and identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement corrective action plans to address compliance gaps and enhance the overall control environment.
- Provide expert advice and guidance to stakeholders on compliancerelated matters fostering a culture of compliance throughout the organization.
- Prepare comprehensive reports on compliance activities and findings presenting them to senior management and relevant committees.

Required Experience
- Extensive knowledge of regulatory frameworks compliance practices and industry standards.
- Proven experience in leading strategic regulatory projects and initiatives.
- Strong understanding of compliance monitoring techniques and methodologies.
- Demonstrated experience in change management with the ability to effectively implement and manage change within an organization.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to engage effectively with both external and internal stakeholders.
- Experience in conducting testing and risk assessments with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Collaborative and resultsdriven mindset with the ability to work effectively in crossfunctional teams.
- Consulting experience from a toptier company in the compliance domain is a definite plus with a track record of delivering highimpact solutions to complex regulatory challenges.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results within tight deadlines.
- Experience in advising clients on regulatory compliance strategies and best practices.
Profile
- University degree in Law Business or a related field.
- At least 8 years of professional experience in compliance regulatory affairs or a related field with a significant portion in a consulting environment.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to think strategically and drive results.
- Proficiency in English is mandatory; additional language skills are an asset.
- Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and work effectively in a fastpaced dynamic setting.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships with a focus on delivering exceptional service and value.
- Proven track record of working collaboratively with diverse teams to achieve common goals.
