Job Description

Pacific Questprovides licensed and accredited residential mental healthcare on Hawaii Island integrating evidence based clinical modalities psychiatry nature based interventions and whole person wellness. We serve Adolescents 1317 and Young Adults 1824.

Program Supervisors at Pacific Quest are purposedriven professionals who foster safe therapeutic environments where young people can heal and grow. In this role youll support and develop residential staff while ensuring each resident receives compassionate structured care aligned with their individualized treatment plans.

Program Supervisors lead staff through consistent coaching evaluations and corrective action ensuring compliance with policies and procedures while promoting high standards of care. Program Supervisors also help residents progress in treatment by maintaining a therapeutic environment through daily routines crisis intervention and wellnessfocused support.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    • Manage assigned location staff and residents.
    • Oversee daily programming and ensure individualized care for each resident.
    • Assess risk and communicate needs clearly and promptly.
    • Supervise and support Program staff including scheduling debriefs feedback and documentation of performance and disciplinary actions.
    • Manage resident sleeping arrangements.
    • Account for company devices tools and property (e.g. phones keys equipment etc..
    • Collaborate with the medical team to implement directives and wellness programming such as facilitating medication selfadministration.
    • Know and support use of Guide Development Plans manuals and training guides.
    • Maintain compliance with training and certification requirements.
    • Model teach and uphold Pacific Quests core values: Professionalism HealthConnection and Resilience.
    • Able to cover direct care responsibilities as needed.

Additional Duties

    • Fill in as needed for operational and programmatic needs which could include working in other capacities as needed.
    • Participate in the review process at the 90day and 1year marks.
    • Mandated overtime may be required if relief staff does not show up for shift.
    • Other duties as assigned or required due to operational needs.

Required Skills/Qualifications

    • Experience working with adolescents and young adults in therapeutic settings.
    • Skilled in crisis prevention and intervention.
    • Ability to adhere to confidentiality policies.
    • Current inperson CPR/First Aid certification (Wilderness First Aid & Wilderness First Responder can only be substituted for a CPR cert if the card specifies that CPR was included and the expiration date).
    • CPI certification (provided by PQ); assist with staff CPI training and reviews.
    • Proficiency in Google Suite (Gmail Drive Docs Sheets).
    • Builds respectful and collaborative relationships with staff and residents while growing in a dynamic environment.
    • Must have valid drivers license and clean driving record.

    • Pass all preemployment and ongoing background checks fingerprinting and drug screening.
    • Preemployment and annual physical and TB clearance required.

Work Hours and Locations

    • Fourday shifts average 45 hours per week; typically SundayWednesday or WednesdaySunday.
    • Must clock in/out daily.
    • Shifts may vary to accommodate resident needs and supervisors should be ready to respond flexibly to critical situations or transitions. Escalations outfittings and emergencies may affect shift times.
    • Oncall rotation may require overnight stays on site.
    • Work location may vary based on program needs.

Physical Demands

    • The role of a Program Supervisor is physically demanding; please communicate in writing any accommodation you may need. With or without reasonable accommodation the physical and mental requirements of this job may include the following:
    • The ability to see hear speak and write clearly.
    • Regular walking standing and sitting; occasional climbing including stairs stooping kneeling crouching and crawling. Reaching with hands and arms. Walking up inclines and on uneven terrain may be required.
    • Ability to lift or move up to 50 pounds.
    • Frequent physical activity required during 1012 hour shifts.
    • Must be able to respond rapidly in emergencies including sprinting and performing energyintensive movements for safety.
$55000 $60000 a year
Starting wage is dependent on experience and qualifications; overtime pay for hours worked over 40 per work week.
