ROLE SUMMARY:
KC Alicante are seeking a passionate and dedicated Temporary Teacher of English to join their school. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering highquality English lessons fostering a love for literature and supporting students in developing strong analytical and communication skills.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Teach English across Key Stages 3 4 and potentially IBDP Level.
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with departmental schemes of work.
- Assess monitor and track student progress providing regular feedback.
- Maintain a positive and supportive learning environment.
- Contribute to the wider school community including extracurricular activities.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
- A degree in English or a related subject.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching English at secondary level.
- Strong commitment to high standards of teaching and learning.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Desirable
- Experience teaching English to IBDP level.
- A passion for extracurricular activities such as debating creative writing or drama.
