The Director of Student AccountsReceivableoversees student billing accounts receivable cashiering and collections at Arapahoe Community College. This role ensures accurate compliant financial transactions and serves as a key liaison between Fiscal Services Financial Aid the Registrar and Student Services.
The Director manages all functions of the Banner student accounts receivable systemdeveloping codes funds and rules to ensure proper accounting. They support reconciliation troubleshoot system issues and maintain daily operational integrity.
They coordinate semester billing apply tuition and fees and issue bills to students and thirdparty payers. The role also manages refunds and disbursements in compliance with Title IV and state policies working closely with campus departments and vendors.
As leader of the Colleges cash management operations the Director oversees payment processing deposits credit card transactions and compliance with accounting standards and procedures. They implement payment plans and enterprise payment systems while ensuring studentcentered service.
In managing the Cashiers Office they set goals improve procedures and lead efficiency and service initiatives. They supervise staff handle escalated inquiries and collaborate across departments to resolve account issues.
The Director also oversees collections including precollections outreach agency placements vendor coordination and account writeoffs. Additional duties include supporting financial reporting coordinating 1098T tax reporting participating in committees and liaising with the bookstore vendor and Financial Aid.
