Senior Java DeveloperWhat does a successful Senior Java Developer do at Fiserv
You will be part of a delivery team that builds the Commerce Hub platform. Built to deliver innovation through simple fast integrations the Commerce Hub is the most powerful omnichannel platform. A true singleentry point and intelligent orchestration layer provides access to the latest most popular commerce experiences through merchants existing infrastructure. With developerfriendly flexible communication standards unified APIs and precertified integrations the Commerce Hub reduces development time and accelerates speed to market.
What you will do:
- Analyze complex processes and technologically heterogenic applications
- Design software solutions in the realtime payments area
- Develop microservices for highly efficient protocol translation and enrichment with reactive design patterns
- Deliver endtoend solutions for payment APIs
- Develop high throughput and highvolume transaction APIs that can be consumed by omnichannel platforms
- Enhance API solutions to offer simple easytoconsume APIs for payment customers
- Participate in development of roadmap and strategies for documenting and presenting API specifications in an easy and consumable format
- Develop roadmap and strategies to provide client libraries and SDKs for API products
What you will need to have:
- 10 years of software engineering experience with Java Spring Boot and WebFlux
- 10 years of experience in unit testing using JUnit and Mockito
- 10 years of experience with databases and code integrations such as Oracle and PostgreSQL
- 10 years of experience implementing complex full stack solutions including APIs and microservices
- 5 years of handson experience with Spring Cloud Spring Data Spring Transactional and Spring Batch
- 5 years of handson experience in Spring integration with Redis and other data sources
- Bachelors degree in computer science or a relevant field or an equivalent combination of education work and/or military experience
What would be great to have:
- Payments industry experience
- Experience in AWS Cloud or related cloud platforms and API management
- Experience in implementing highvolume transaction processing applications
- Experience using quality and security scan tools such as Sonar Fortify and Web Inspect
- Experience in integration testing APIs with Postman JMeter etc.
