Job Summary
The Social Media Coordinator Intern will support the Digital Marketing team by assisting with the creation scheduling and publication of social media content. The intern will gain handson experience in social media strategy content development and community engagement while learning how to analyze social media metrics and ensure compliance with brand standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist with creating and scheduling social media content for corporate and branch social media accounts.
- Monitor social media profiles and engage with comments/messages under supervision.
- Assist with tracking and analyzing social media performance metrics and preparing basic reports.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions for social media campaigns and content ideas.
- Support the marketing team with administrative tasks related to social media projects.
- Research current social media trends and present findings to the team.
- Assist in maintaining brand consistency across social media channels.
- Perform additional tasks as needed contributing to the success of the marketing department.
Position Requirements
Education
- Currently pursuing a bachelors degree in marketing communication design or a related field.
Experience
- Basic knowledge of social media platforms including Facebook Instagram LinkedIn and others.
- Experience with social media content creation is preferred.
Functional/Technical Skills
- Selfstarter with an upbeat positive personality.
- Must be selfmotivated organized and detailoriented.
- Proven ability to work effectively within a teamoriented environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Creativity and willingness to learn
- Basic understanding of social media analytics
- Familiarity with social media management tools (preferred).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word Excel PowerPoint).
