Job Description
Corewell Health is seeking hematology/oncology candidates to join a wellestablished Hematology/Oncology Clinic located inside Corewell Health Hospital Troy one of the major hospitals in Southeastern Michigan region.
Currently the practice includes2 physicians and 2 advanced practice providers. Patients have access to clinical trials and are evaluated at lung breast GI GU head and neck Molecular and hematology tumor boards. The physician will be able to participate in teaching activities with fellows residents and medical students. The program is well supported by Wilson cancer center with resources like nurse navigators schedulers Survivorship and other support facilities.
The group worksclosely with radiation oncologists primary care physicians and surgeons. Theradiation oncology departmentis equipped with the latest technology including direct access to proton therapy. Social work nutritional and genetic counseling services are available on site.
The ideal candidate should be comfortable managing medical oncology malignant and benign hematology however focus on GI and GU preferred CAR T Cellular Therapy experience recommended or preferred. Weekend call is rotated within the group 1 in 4. One to three years of experience is preferred; however new graduates are welcome.
