Job Description
Mackin Educational Resources is a wellestablished highly respected provider of PK12 grade fiction and nonfiction books located in the South Metro. Our Book Packing / Shipping department has an immediate opening for seasonal help this Spring and Summer.
Responsibilities
- Assemble containers and crates using proper packing methods pack goods to be shipped and attach packing slips
- Prepare shipping documents using various computer software
- Maintain safe working conditions and keep work areas clean
- May be required to operate pallet jack and related stockroom machinery
- Ability to organize and pack materials along with checking documents for accuracy
- Previous Fed Ex and UPS experience a plus
- Ability to stand and walk throughout entire shift
- Must be able to multitask and prioritize work in a fastpaced environment
- Ability to cross train in other areas/departments as needed
- Must have the physical strength and stamina to lift and move goods repeatedly
- Ability to lift 3050 pounds repeatedly throughout shift
Shifts (Seasonal)
- FullTime: Monday through Friday 8hour shifts starting at 7:00 AM 8:00 AM or 9:00 AM
Wages
- $17.75per hour
