JOB TITLE: PrincipalProduct Development Engineer

REMOTE TYPE: Virtual Worker

JOB LOCATION: 208 S Akard St. Dallas TX 75202 and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.; may work from home

DUTIES: Research design plan prototype and develop software solutions by translating requirements or strategic business objectives into a final product. Perform indepth assessments of software application needs prototype and consult to deliver application functionality. Conduct Infrastructure Maintenance through DevOps support monitoring performance troubleshooting and optimization. Complete engineering assignments: design development documentation and testing of hardware firmware or software products or systems. Develop new products and perform enhancements and modifications on existing products. Utilize innovative methods in developing solutions. Work on abstract problems requiring evaluation of intangible variables. Serve as a lead contributor on critical projects/technology initiatives. Develop enterprisewide integrated solutions. Contribute to complex and innovative business solutions to achieve strategic objectives. Provide technical expertise to peers across the company. Develop enterprisewide integrated solutions. Perform Vendor Management: feature roadmap priorities requirements negotiations bugs maintenance releases and quality. Perform software development using IP based internet protocols: UDP TCP TLS HTTP Websockets. Perform indepth assessments of software features to ensure software quality and customer satisfaction. Mentor new talent by helping them navigate the basics of software development.

REQUIREMENTS: Requires a Masters degree or foreign equivalent degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science and two 2 years of experience in the job offered or two 2 years of experience in a related occupation researching designing planning prototyping and developing software solutions by translating requirements or strategic business objectives into a final product; performing software development using IP based internet protocols: UDP TCP TLS HTTP Websockets; performing indepth assessments of software features to ensure software quality and customer satisfaction; mentoring new talent by helping them navigate the basics of software development; performing Vendor Management: feature roadmap priorities requirements negotiations bugs maintenance releases and quality; and conducting Infrastructure Maintenance through DevOps support monitoring performance troubleshooting and optimization.
