ThePurposeof Your Role
Our teams build and contribute to Fidelitys digital presence. As a senior software engineer you will help us build the omni channel user experiences and the underlying platforms needed to support our digital presence. Youll work on building entire features taking these from concept to deployment as part of our autonomous cross functional have the opportunity to contribute ideas to improve our products as well as develop your skills learn new technologies and languages and continue to learn. Were looking for highly motivated individuals who work well in a collaborative iterative and fastpaced environment.
The Expertise Were Looking for
6 years of professional experience developing publicly available Web applications using JavaScript or JavaScript MV* frameworks like Angular supported by RESTful web services
Verifiable experience using JavaScript/TypeScript NodeJS/Express CSS/HTML in a large enterprise environment preferably as part of a team of Web engineers
Designing and implementing continuous JS environments using Webpack Grunt Gulp etc
Effectively employ DevOps Automated Testing and Continuous Delivery using technology such as Groovy Jenkins Concourse.
Experience with containerization Docker and orchestration.
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science Information Science Mathematics Physics (or equivalent)

4 years of software development experience
Good understanding of HTTP based APIs Networking and how the internet works.
Strong JavaScript Typescript CSS HTML & Browser Developer tools.
Understand Async code (Promises Callbacks Event Loops)
JS Tooling (ESLint Webpack Grunt Gulp)
Angular MV* frameworks
Comfortable with Visual Design & Rapid Prototyping
Expert at one IDE of choice (VS Code WebStorm)
frameworks NPM Express
Automation Tools/Frameworks (Mocha Jasmine Selenium Protractor)
Advanced Git skills
API Design & Development MicroServices Architecture.
DevOps Automated Testing and Continuous Delivery

Able to own smalltomedium features from technical design through completion
Creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation for multiple applications or subsystems.

Analyzing business requirements and system development specifications.
Participating in problem solving troubleshooting performance turning production support and maintenance of existing applications.
Contributing to processimprovement initiatives in an effort to maximize velocity for the product team.
