The position will support the Property Tax Manager in managing the full property tax cycle for real and personal property accounts within a large organization with multiple legal entities. Responsibilities include processing secured and unsecured tax bills assisting with welfare exemption and property tax filings and maintaining property assessments and jurisdictional tax details. The position involves tracking and monitoring jurisdictional deadlines for filings audits appeals mailing and payment dates. Additionally it includes researching tax issues reconciling data and working with local jurisdictions to verify calculations and methodologies. The position will also assist with property tax audits assessment reviews and participate in onsite inspections with local jurisdictions throughout California to support property taxrelated activities.Job Description:
EDUCATION
- Bachelors: Business Administration Finance Accounting or related field.
EXPERIENCE
- 2 years of recent or relevant experience
CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE:
- Valid Drivers License
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
- Indepth knowledge and experience in both personal property tax and real property tax assessment and valuation methods.
- Strong understanding of property tax laws regulations and guidelines.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel with creating developing and interpreting detailed spreadsheets.
- Ability to prioritize tasks manage workload and meet strict deadlines.
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fastpaced environment.
- Ability to work independently and as a team member to achieve goals and objectives.
- Critical thinking analytical skills.
- Organization skills and attention to details.
- Ability to travel up to 20 of the time to meet with local jurisdictions within the companys footprint.

Pay Range is $36.59 to $54.89 / hourThe salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidates experience education skills licensure and certifications department equity training and organizational needs. Base pay is just one piece of the total rewards program offered by Sutter Health. Eligible roles also qualify for a comprehensive benefits package.
