Adjunct appointments are temporary and for a specified contract period only.
Course: MedSurg NURS 222L Nursing III Clinical Instructor
Location: Clinical/Lab setting
Dates: 8/25/2512/13/25 16 weeks)Fall semester
Lab: Monday &Tuesday 08:00AM16:00PM X 2 weeks
Clinical: Tuesday 06:45AM15:45PM X 14 weeks
Nursing III Course Description: Medical Surgical Complex: Integration of the program concepts continues as the content focuses on the care of adult patients with complex medical and surgical health problems. Emphasis is placed on helping patients and their families cope with alterations in body functions. Pharmacology health promotion and patient education are incorporated throughout the course. Clinical learning experiences provide an opportunity to apply theoretical concepts and implement safe care to patients in a variety of medical surgical settings.
Minimum Requirements A Masters degree in Nursing (MSN) or a Bachelors degree in nursing (BSN) and currently enrolled in an MSN program and two years of nursing care experience working with MedicalSurgical clients.
Licensure/Certifications: Must possess a current Registered Nurse license in New Hampshire.
Must meet the continuing education requirements by the Board of Nursing to maintain continuing licensure.
Course: Mental Health NURS 142L Nursing II Clinical Instructor
Location: Clinical setting at New Hampshire Hospital
Dates 1/20/265/9/26 15 weeks) Monday 06:30AM16:30PM
Nursing II MH Course Description: This content provides a concentrated experience in the specialty area of mental health nursing. Emphasis is placed on using the concepts introduced in NSG I and II effective therapeutic communication techniques completing a psychiatric nursing assessment discussion of psychotropic medications as a member of an interdisciplinary team in the care of individuals within the mental healthcare clinical setting.
Minimum Requirements A Masters degree in Nursing (MSN) or a Bachelors degree in nursing (BSN) and currently enrolled in an MSN program and two years of nursing care experience working with Mental Health clients.
Licensure/Certifications: Must possess a current Registered Nurse license in New Hampshire.
Must meet the continuing education requirements by the Board of Nursing to maintain continuing licensure.
Courses are assigned inperson blended or online as required by department chair.

Salary: The compensation rate is $800$950 per contact hour. Clinical Contact Hour 60 minutes at $47.95 to $59.45. Compensation will be determined based on the appointed adjunct faculty rank which is based on education and industry and/or teaching experience.
