Job Description:
This person will contribute to the companys success by being a fully proficient support individual contributor. Works under limited supervision. May be a resource to other employees in areas of expertise. Assignments are moderately difficult requiring some judgment. Performing test and debug operations on a variety of LRU (Line Replaceable Units) circuit card assemblies (CCAs) and components. This role will report directly to the Manufacturing Supervisor and is responsible for successfully testing and debugging L3 products for delivery or repair.
Essential Functions:
- Assist Engineer to develop and maintain test procedures.
- Participate in Root Cause Analysis on failures.
- Assist in component level debug on the product in test labs.
- Provide input to develop and maintain Test BillofProcess and Work Instructions.
- Participation in reoccurring engineering related Test Readiness Reviews.
- Assist in maintaining Government/Customer Furnished Equipment.
- Help manage tools and test equipment to support the production floor.
- Assist with Test Machine Maintenance and repair.
- Participate in Failure trend analysis.
- Assist in OutofTolerance reporting for test equipment.
- Working daily in a lab environment.
Frequently moves equipment weighingup to 35 pounds across campus for various needs.
Support OT (nights weekends extended hours) as needed to meet schedule requirements and business needs.
Ability to obtain a US Security Clearance.
Qualifications:
- Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4years of prior relevant experience or 2 years postSecondary/Associates Degree with 0 to2years of prior related experience.
Preferred Additional Skills:
Fully proficient knowledge of RF and digitals signals.
Fully proficient of basic Analog Digital and RF circuitry.
Comfortable using PC based applications.
Fully proficient using test equipment (RF signal generators spectrum analyzers power meters voltage meters and oscilloscopes).
2 years of experience preferred in RF and digital signals.
2 years of experience with signal generators spectrum analyzers power meters.
