About the Role
As an Electrical Engineer at Haleon you will be responsible for designing developing testing and overseeing manufacturingof electrical equipment systems and components. In this role you will work on projects from concept through to implementation and handover. You will be critical in ensuring theefficiency reliability and safety of electrical operations within the facility.
Key responsibilities will include:
Analyzing and improving manufacturing processes to enhance productivity quality and safety through electrical innovations.
Managing electrical projects from concept to completion including planningbudgeting scheduling and coordinating with other departments.
Ensuring all electrical installations and operations comply with local state andfederal regulations as well as company safety and engineering standards.
Owning the Site Electrical Safety Plan and all corresponding actions defined from IBMaudit.
Overseeing the installation commissioning and startup of electrical systems and machinery ensuring they are operational and meet safety standards.
Sourcing and managing relationships with vendors and suppliers.
Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing innovation toenhance efficiency and safety.
Performing/Overseeing regular maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical systems and equipment to minimize downtime and maintaining production efficiency.
Providing technical support and guidance to maintenance and production teams solving complex electrical issues.
Managing computerized system access.
Acting as the Laser Safety Champion for the site.
Why you
Basic Qualifications:
We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related engineering field
3 years of experience in electrical engineering within a manufacturing environment.
Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
Knowledge of safety and regulatory standards (E.g. NFPA 70 OSHA).
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints.
Previous experience with PLCs HMIs VFDs and other control systems.
Proficiency in electrical design software (e.g. AutoCAD EPLAN).
Preferred Qualifications:
