General Job Description

As a Lead Product Owner AI/ML & GenAI you will be responsible for driving the strategy development and implementation of AIpowered products and solutions for the insurance industry. You will work at the intersection of data science actuarial analytics and product management to create innovative solutions that enhance underwriting pricing claims processing and customer experience. Your deep understanding of insurance concepts actuarial methodologies and AI/ML techniques will enable you to lead crossfunctional teams prioritize features and align product development with business goals

Pre requisites Knowledge & Experience

• Education: MBA in Business Actuarial Science or a related field; in IT/Computer Science preferred.
• Experience: 812 years of relevant experience in product management AI/ML and insurance domain.
• Insurance Domain Expertise: Strong understanding of actuarial concepts and insurance products across P&C L&P or Reinsurance (RI).
• AI/ML Expertise: Handson experience in AI/ML Generative AI data analytics and automation within the insurance sector.
• Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with SQL (Intermediate level) cloud platforms (AWS Azure or GCP) and AI/ML frameworks.
• Product Management Skills: Proficiency in Agile methodologies roadmap development backlog prioritization and stakeholder management.
• Problem Solving: Ability to solve complex business problems using AIdriven solutions.

Required Product/project Knowledge

• Experience with insurance analytics solutions actuarial modeling and data sciencedriven decisionmaking.
• Strong familiarity with AIpowered underwriting claims automation fraud detection and predictive analytics.
• Understanding of data structures databases and data engineering pipelines to support AI/ML models.
• Expertise in AI/ML regulatory and ethical considerations within the insurance sector.
• Knowledge of industryleading platforms such as Sapiens Guidewire Duck Creek or similar insurance core systems is an advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Define & Drive AI/ML Strategy: Shape and execute the product vision aligning AI/ML initiatives with business goals.
• Own the AI/ML Product Roadmap: Prioritize backlog items define product KPIs and ensure timely delivery of AIdriven solutions.
• Collaborate CrossFunctional Teams: Manage teams across AI/ML engineering product management and business stakeholders.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a bridge between technology business and regulatory teams to ensure AIdriven product compliance and adoption.
• Support PreSales & Market Intelligence: Provide AI/ML product insights to sales teams participate in client discussions and contribute to gotomarket strategies.
• Product strategy: Build and execute end to end product strategy and vision
• Project Management: Handling project management tool for agile development and sprint planning

Required Skills & Competencies

• Deep Insurance & Actuarial Knowledge: Ability to apply actuarial science in AIdriven product solutions.
• AI/ML Product Expertise: Understanding of machine learning models Generative AI NLP and predictive analytics.
• Data Analytics & Visualization: Ability to interpret complex data using BI tools (Tableau Power BI) and statistical models.
• Strategic & Leadership Abilities: Experience in managing AI product teams guiding product strategy and mentoring junior analysts.
• ProblemSolving & Analytical Thinking: Strong ability to identify analyze and solve business challenges using AI solutions.
• Excellent Communication & Stakeholder Management: Ability to convey technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders and drive AI adoption within insurance organizations.
