LG Chem Ohio Petrochemical Inc. (LGCOP) is actively seeking a motivated and detailoriented candidate for a General Affairs position for our team at our Ravenna Ohio campus. This is a longterm Internship (up to 1year) offering handson experience in a fastpaced office environment providing exposure to working with our Senior Leaders Environmental Health & Safety HR Quality Assurance Color Design and Accounting / Finance teams. The General Affairs Associate will be an individual contributor reporting to the HR Manager and work in collaboration with our LGCOP office based teams.
The purpose of this position is provide a platform to develop real life experience and skills for entry level positions and to build a pipeline of candidates for future roles.
What Youll Be Doing
Essential Functions (included but are not limited to):
Handle general administrative tasks for the office team including managing recurring payments for various vendors and suppliers. This may include contacting vendors for information invoicing setting meetings and other general duties.
Manage inventory of consumable office related items including ordering and restocking as needed.
Support Human Resources (HR) on various activities and HRled company events and activities as assigned.
Research and gather information on potential items/materials that could be used in the office.
Assist with creating office team Standard Operating Procedures.
Collaborate with office team members to create presentations and reports for internal reporting.
Manage large sets of data and provide reports used for decision making.
Qualifications Skills and Experience: What Were Looking For
Competencies / Desired Skills:
Bachelors Degree in Business Administration Social Sciences Humanities Engineering or a related field is preferred.
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel Word PowerPoint Teams).
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work in a fastpaced and dynamic environment.
Bilingual Korean & English highly preferred to access translate and transmit Korean language documents.
