Job Description

Summary
Simplot Grower Solutions is looking to fill a seasonal Truck Driver/Warehouse position. Fulltime temporary position with full benefits and the opportunity for substantial overtime hours. The primary responsibility is to operate trucks deliver fertilizer and chemicals and assist with plant operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate fertilizer truck fill application equipment and support plant operations as neede
- May assist with recordkeeping related to warehouse/inventory responsibilities
- Maintain and keep trucks clean
- Performs varied responsibilities such as: equipment and plant maintenance including welding pump and engine overhauls painting and general housekeeping responsibilities
- Loading and delivering fertilizer and chemicals to customers
- Miscellaneous duties such as assisting with special projects attending training sessions providing backup when needed etc.

Typical Education
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Skills & Relevant Experience
- Truck driving experience preferred
- Knowledge of local rural geography is a plus
- Knowledge of farm operations is a plus
Requirements
- Must hold and maintain a Class A or B CDL and appropriate driving record
- HazMat & Tanker Endorsement preferred
- Must be able to lift 50lbs
- AgIndustry Hours Must be willing to work overtime and weekends to meet seasonal demands.
- Must be able to perform all essential functions of the job
