Relocating to Our Region
Relocation incentives may be available to the successful applicant for this role including relocation & accommodation support.
Relocation Support:
- Intrastate (over 100kms) up to $2500
- Interstate up to $5000
- Overseas up to $8000
Accommodation Support:
- Up to $350 per week up to 10 weeks; or
- 10 weeks interim GVH Accommodation (if available)

About the role
Come and join the GV Health Rural Allied Health Team (RAHT) a team with a well renowned supportive workplace culture with an opportunity to work alongside an experienced Speech Pathologist and team of Allied Health Professionals. You will work autonomously undertake a varied and diverse workload and provide interventions in predominately home based settings making a true difference to our clients independence and wellbeing. There is no nursing home work.
The team is an established and progressive multidisciplinary team which includes Dietetics Occupational Therapy Physiotherapy Podiatry Social Work and Speech Pathology services supported by Allied Health Assistants.
The Speech Pathologist will provide person centred care with an opportunity to:
- Travel across the Goulburn Valley region working in home and clinic settings
- Workwith consumers carers and families to provide practical solutions to promote independence and safety at home
- Provide specialist intervention to clients with dysphagia and complex communication disorders
- Advise on appropriate communication aids and devices
- Develop goals and care plans to assist consumersto remain at home and active in their local community
- Work with a diverse range of consumersand health conditions
- Participate in student training programs
- Participate in service development and quality improvement initiatives

We are looking for
- Bachelor of Applied Science (Speech Pathology).
- A memberof Speech Pathology Australia (SPA) and participating in the SPA professional self regulation program).
- Knowledge and experience in the delivery of Speech Pathology services within home and communitybased settings.
- Knowledge of the service system and ability to liaise and advocate across the full spectrum of health and community care.
- A Clear/SatisfactoryNational Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Check or willingness to obtain before commencement
