Key job responsibilities
Driving and developing departmental continuous improvement initiatives and support implementation.
Assemble mechanical and electrical satellite components subassemblies and integration assemblies fabricating and/or processing materials into complex manufactured products and operating testing equipment and tooling all in a Cleanroom and ESD control environment.
Lead process work and review output for quality and adherence to standards and procedures
Lead daily team meeting facilitation endofshift reporting and coordinating efforts to minimize production interruptions.
Support newhire training programs within your department and contribute to development and modification of training programs. You develop training plans for your team and are responsible for implementing training programs within your department.
Drive safety standards and operations protocol while ensuring team compliance.

The Lead MFG Assembly Technician will identify process improvements to improve build efficiency. You will work closely with multiple engineering teams on both early hardware development and setting the stage for later production hardware manufacturing processes. About the team
We are a group of Technicians with well over 20 years of diverse skills and experience. Each team member brings in willingness to train and positive team energy. With some tasks you may be an individual contributor but may also work in a group environment to achieve organizational goals. This group of Technicians thrive in success by working as a team. We are currently in a research and development phase but moving towards a production environment.

High school diploma or equivalent
4 years relevant aerospace manufacturing experience
4 years of handson work experience ElectroMechanical Assembly Final Integration and/ or Harness Integration experience
4 years experience in a fastpaced production environment with Flight Hardware
4 years of hand on experience with precision torque measurement and inspection devices (i.e. automated and manual torque wrenches calipers micrometers profilometers optical inspection devices multimeters torque wrenches)

Additional Requirements:
Willing to work all shifts overtime and weekends as needed. Estimated shift times will be on 1st shift from 6am to 4:30pm Wednesday to Saturday
Standing for long periods of time climbing up and down ladders bending grasping sitting pulling pushing stooping and stretching may be required to perform the functions of this position
Able to liftup to 25lbs. unassisted


1 years prior leadership experience to include leading teams projects or people
Experience bringing teams and processes from development to production
Aircraft & Powerplant (A&P) certification/license
Able to read interpret and work from engineering documentation and/ or drawings
Experience working with FOD ESD sensitive hardware and clean room requirements
Ability to work effectively in a team environment Ability to rapidly change roles/responsibilities while working in a highpaced challenging work environment
Previous military service a plus

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $61100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $100800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity signon payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
