Sales Manager (Chandigarh) Your future position
Join Givaudans South Asia Taste and Wellbeing team as a Sales Manager based in Chandigarh. In this role you will focus on building strong relationships with distributors and food and pharmaceutical customers. You will be responsible for developing strategic initiatives to support and grow our flavors business in the assigned market leveraging your expertise to drive success and foster longterm partnerships. You will be reporting to the Regional Sales Manager (SAMEA).
Sounds interesting In this exciting role you also will be responsible in:
Achieve monthly quarterly and annual sales targets for Givaudan in this individual contributor role.
Build and maintain enduring relationships with key customers and distributors; conduct visits to existing clients and identify new opportunities through business reviews negotiations and product presentations.
Provide regular updates to management on opportunities for Givaudan Taste & Wellbeing within the assigned territory leveraging connections with R&D manufacturing procurement QC/QA and finance.
Develop comprehensive account development plans that outline customer strategies and requirements while maintaining a robust project pipeline with insights into key projects and their likelihood of success.
Manage customer orders and service levels negotiating prices in accordance with established sales policies.
Maintain and update customer data product portfolios pricing delivery terms and payment conditions in the relevant database; follow up with clients on outstanding and overdue payments.

Your professional profile includes:
MBA in Business Management Marketing or relevant with Bachelors Degree in Food Science Food Technology or related field.
6 to 8 years of relevant experience in B2B sales within the Flavours or Food industry.
Strong knowledge of the Flavour & Food industries with indepth understanding of products and applications.
Technical and commercial expertise related to flavours and their enduse applications along with a solid grasp of market dynamics and consumer needs.
Experience managing sales in the Chandigarh market is advantageous but not mandatory.
Proven ability to build strong customer relationships and drive profitable growth in a competitive market environment.
High learning agility and adaptability.
Great business development skills to multifold the business.
Strong independence decisionmaking skills and proactiveness.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills coupled with techsavvy skills too.
Willingness and ability to travel frequently between Chandigarh and Gurgaon (approximately 50 of the time).
Proficiency in English.
