Job Description
Position Details:
- 36 hours/week;benefitted
Bloomberg 9 North Pediatric Cardiac StepDown Transplantand General CareUnitis a 20bed general care and stepdown unit. The registered nurse provides care for medical/surgical patients varying by specialty from birth to adulthood. The unit specialized in heart liver and kidney transplants genetic/metabolic diseases and inpatient clinical research. This unit also specialized in cardiac/cardiac surgery patients which includes stepdown level of care. Common diagnoses include complex congenital heart disease acquired heart disease heart failure and dysrhythmias with medical and surgical intervention

Take a tour of our campus: School Diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma.
One year of clinical experience e.g. home care outpatient acute care (hospital preferred) technician experience during the most recent two years in a setting relevant to the unit; volunteer work as EMT or CRT may be considered.
Licensure/Certifications:
- Nursing Assistant Certification from the Maryland Board of Nursing required.
- Current CPR certification
Salary Range: Minimum$17.37/hour Maximum$26.13/ will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
