Job Description

Job Title: Specialist Integration and Test Engineer

Job Location:Salt Lake City UT

Job Schedule:9/80:Employees work 9 out of every 14 days totaling 80 hours worked and have every other Friday off

Job Description:

Responsible for performing the integration and/or test of all components ensuring electrical and physical compatibility to meet program technical schedule and cost objectives. In support of system design activities responsible for test and/or integration of COTSbased electromechanical systems from the system design phase through development documentation installation and commissioning of the completed system. Integration responsibilities may include design develop and implement integration plans for procedures for hardware software and facilities. Responsible for the physical and electrical compatibility of functional interfaces and first article product integration ensuring seamless interface between the design and production of systems. Testing responsibilities may include analyzes requirements for testability issues. Develops and implements both hardware and software system level test programs plans specifications procedures and customer acceptance. Plans and leads test working groups test readiness reviews. Conducts testability and producibility analyses and reviews.

Essential Functions:

  • Develop and maintain test procedures and test process documents
  • Perform Root Cause Analysis on failures
  • Perform failure trend analysis
  • Perform engineering level debug on the product in test labs
  • Reoccurring engineering related Test Readiness Reviews
  • Maintain Government/Customer Furnished Equipment
  • Manage tools and test equipment to support the production floor
  • Test Machine Maintenance and repair
  • OutofTolerance reporting for test equipment
  • Ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.
