Job Description:
The Facilities HVAC Technician will coordinate the work of contractors and interface with customers to accommodate program requirements. Must have a valid drivers license and be able to operate a company vehicle to travel to all 5 sites in Brevard.
Essential Functions:
Support HVAC requests for 3.5M SF in 76 buildings spread across 5 locations in Brevard
Basic computer skills
Use tracking software to ensure components are accurately installed tracked etc.
Interface with all levels of the organization to report on HVAC issues
Role is customerfocused metricdriven and has an expectation of timely completion and closeout of Work Orders
Will work in a diverse and changing environment supporting many internal and external customers simultaneously
Qualifications:
Requires highly developed job knowledge/skills. Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years postsecondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience.
Valid drivers License
Preferred Additional Skills:
Ability to lift up to 30 pounds of equipment
Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
Good interpersonaland communication skills
Experience working with engineering blueprints process specifications and building layouts.
