Radiology Technician Ambulatory Surgery Center OR
The OR Radiologic Technologist performs radiographic imaging in the operating room during intraoperative procedures.
Operates xray equipment (CArm) and has knowledge of imaging equipment connectivity with intraoperative PACS and RIS troubleshoots device connection with imaging equipment.
Collaborates with surgeons and other OR staff to ensure radiology guidance is available and appropriate for specific OR cases.
Ensures CArm equipment is in acceptable condition by conducting routine quality control checks. Maintains cleanliness of CArm equipment.
Education Certification Computer and Training Requirements:
13 years experience required CArm specifically
Graduated from an accredited Radiology program.
Licensed by NJ State DEP.
Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologies
BLS certification is required
Maintain current knowledge of RIS and PACS computer systems.
The ability to communicate in English both orally and in writing is required.
Advanced computer skills including email Microsoft applications and the ability to comprehend and utilize Electronic Medical Record System RIS and PACS Systems.
