Optimize and maintain financial systems through advanced data analysis strategic implementation and system modifications ensuring accurate financial reporting and operational efficiency.
Key Roles and Responsibilities: Typical tasks may include but are not limited to the following:
- Financial Systems Management and Optimization: Oversee and optimize financial systems for efficiency. Troubleshoot and resolve system issues promptly.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement. Develop and maintain financial reports and dashboards with actionable insights.
- System Implementation and Integration: Lead or support the implementation of new financial systems or upgrades. Ensure seamless integration with other business systems and coordinate with IT.
- User Support and Training: Provide enduser support for financial systems. Develop training materials and conduct user training sessions.
- Other Duties as Assigned: Identify and recommend process improvements. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain data security. Manage financial system projects and collaborate with stakeholders. Assist in budgeting forecasting and maintaining documentation.
- Management and maintenance of general ledgers and subledgers insuring proper close of accounting periods and accurate reporting of results.
- Ensure journal lines are validated GL string is created entries are posted. Includes detection of errors system generated error resolution & root cause analysis.
- Maintain Chart of Account tables & validation rules related to GL strings in Cloud/CFAS/Fusion.
- Partner with IT production support to resolve system issues schedule & test code changes.
- Communicate and provide guidance to journal preparers/approvers and financial reporting tool users regarding system best practices processing schedules & error resolution.
- Manage timely processing of referential inbound files and outbound feeds.
- User Provisioning Administration for the general ledger/subledger systems and databases.
- Support and participate in the migration of subledgers to Oracle Cloud
- Participate in development of new processes.

Education/Experience:
- Bachelors degree (BS/BA) desired.
- 3 years of related experience.
- Certification is required in some areas.
Our Senior Financial Sys Analyst earn between $96000 $144000. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography experience expertise and education/training.
