SMCSSutter Med Center SacramentoPosition Overview:
Provides technical and support services in the area of diagnostic and interventional Electrophysiology (EP). Operates and maintains sophisticated electrophysiology equipment in providing quality patient care which results in accurate diagnosis and/or treatment of congenital or acquired heart disease. Performs patient care in a manner consistent with a safe and professional environment for pediatric adolescent adult and geriatric patients.Job Description:
EDUCATION:
- Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma
- Associates: physical sciences or healthcare related sciences
CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE:
- ACLSAdvanced Cardiac Life Support
- BLSBasic Life Support Healthcare Provider
- PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support within 6 months
TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:
- 5 years recent relevant experience
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
- Knowledge in electrophysiology including cardiac anatomy and physiology and diagnostic and interventional procedures.
- Demonstrated proficiency in recognition and interpretation of ECGs and cardiac pathophysiology is required.
- Knowledge of principles of radiation safety.
- The incumbent will demonstrate the ability to operate a wide variety of physiologic monitors recorders ablation systems programmers pacemakers and defibrillators.
- Ability to trouble instrumentation and demonstrate resourcefulness in problemsolving.

Pay Range is $62.69 to $78.35 / hourThe salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidates experience education skills licensure and certifications department equity training and organizational needs. Base pay is just one piece of the total rewards program offered by Sutter Health. Eligible roles also qualify for a comprehensive benefits package.
