Are you ready to lead a team that plays a critical role in keeping Albertas roads safe As the Team Lead for the Licensing and Training Program youll help shape how drivers instructors and examiners are trained and licensed across the province. This is your chance to lead a highperforming team influence policy and program development and make a real difference in the lives of Albertans.
In this leadership role you will supervise a team of Licensing and Training Specialists who are responsible for driver licensing driver training and testing across Alberta. Youll be the goto subject matter expert for all things licensing developing program strategy ensuring compliance with legislation and collaborating with industry and government partners to improve training standards and operational delivery.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Leading mentoring and supporting a provincewide team through supervision onboarding training and performance planning
- Guiding and monitoring program delivery to ensure services are consistent compliant and aligned with operational targets
- Developing and implementing improvements to licensing and training systems procedures and documentation
- Creating and delivering training and information sessions for industry stakeholders and internal teams
- Consulting and collaborating with industry government and crossfunctional teams to align services with policy and strategic goals
- Overseeing quality assurance practices statistical reporting and program evaluations
- Advising on legislative interpretation stakeholder concerns and emerging trends in licensing and training
- Participating in provincial and national committees as Albertas representative on driver training and testing issues

Qualifications
Required:
- A related university degree (e.g. Arts Business) supplemented by at least four 4 years of related experience. Equivalencies may be considered.
- Demonstrated experience in leading and supervising a team of professionals.
- A valid Alberta Class 1 2 or 3 drivers license or the ability to obtain one.
Preferred:
- Experience in driver training testing or licensing.
- Experience developing and delivering training programs for internal or external stakeholders.
Equivalencies are:
- A related twoyear diploma and a minimum of six 6 years of related experience; a related oneyear certificate and a minimum of seven 7 years of related experience; or a minimum of eight 8 years of related experience in lieu of formal education.

Additional Position Details:
- This position is a permanent fulltime role with the standard weekly work hours of 36.25 Monday to Friday 8:15 am 4:30 pm).
- Due to the essential nature of the work this role requires inoffice presence at Twin Atria Building 4999 98 Ave Edmonton AB T6B 2X3.
- Traveling will consist of 5075 of the work schedule.
