You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailEnterprise Function Technology (EFT) is seeking a Software Engineering Manager to provide leadership for an application delivery team supporting Finance Technology. This Manager will lead a highperforming software engineering team and will be responsible for overseeing the development of software solutions and ensuring alignment with strategic business and product objectives. This role requires a combination of technical expertise leadership skills and product management capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and mentor a team of software engineers fostering a collaborative and highperformance culture. Provide guidance conduct performance reviews and support career development.
Lead the planning design and implementation of software projects. Ensure the projects are delivered on time within scope and meet quality standards.
Develop and execute the technical roadmap aligning software development efforts with the companys strategic goals. Evaluate and adopt new technologies to enhance product offerings.
Work closely with product managers architects subject matter experts and other stakeholders to gather requirements define project scope and ensure successful integration of software solutions.
Establish and enforce best practices for software development including code quality testing and deployment processes. Ensure that software products meet or exceeds quality and performance standards.
Oversee resource allocation and manage project priorities to balance workloads and optimize team productivity.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency effectiveness and innovation within the engineering team.
Proactively identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them ensuring the successful delivery of software projects.
Required Qualifications:
4 years of Software Engineering experience or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience training military experience education
4 years of strong knowledge in the following technologies: Java Oracle NetApps S3 Angular. Power BI and other technologies such as Dremio
4 experience in Pivotal Cloud Foundry Microsoft Azure Cloud
2 years of Leadership experience
Desired Qualifications:
Proven track record of managing software engineering teams and delivering complex software solutions.
Strong understanding of software development methodologies such as Agile or Scrum.
Experience with modern software development tools and practices including continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD).
Excellent problemsolving analytical and decisionmaking skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with crossfunctional teams and stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to drive technical innovation and lead teams through technical challenges.
