Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Sr. Commercial Insurance Account Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts providing exceptional customer service and driving business retention and growth.
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of commercial insurance clients addressing their inquiries and managing their accounts.
- Review insurance policies and identify coverage gaps providing recommendations to optimize clients coverage.
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify upsell and crosssell opportunities within the existing client base.
- Monitor policy renewals and proactively engage clients to ensure timely renewals while providing valuable risk management advice.
- Analyze claims data and trends to provide insight and advice to clients on loss control and mitigation strategies.
- Foster strong relationships with clients underwriters and other stakeholders to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and retention.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Proven experience as a Commercial Insurance Account Manager or in a similar clientfacing role within the insurance industry.
- Strong understanding of commercial insurance products policies and regulations.
- Excellent communication negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in insurance software (EPIC experience preferred) and Microsoft Office suite.
- Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) License.
- Previous construction experience is highly preferred.
