The Opportunity

DaytoDay Responsibilities
- To ensure that all day to day banking transactions are processed and recorded in a timely manner to accounts.
- To download all bank statements from and upload into the LAC system three times daily.
- To challenge processes and put in place the necessary controls to ensure the integrity of the data held in the LAC system.
- Update reconciliation spreadsheets of certain Scheme bank accounts on a daily basis.
- To ensure that certain bank accounts are reconciled and reported within the tight monthly reporting deadlines
- Check that electronic payments and receipts have been recorded correctly in the LAC system.
- To ensure that all reports from LAC system reconcile to the bank accounts at month end.
- To download all card transactions from SIPS to enable reconciliation.
- To cover administration duties i.e. cheques paperwork statements etc.
- To verify and submit BACS debit and credit files in AccessPay.
- Provide cover for L1 approving payments in and download bank statements
- Calculate requirements and raise transfer payments in BMG to ensure liquidity in bank account to cover Merchant Settlement
- To liaise with the banks on daytoday issues.
- Provide backup within the team when necessary.
Who Are We Looking For
- Cash reconciliation/bank experience minimum 3 years.
- Finance role background
- Financial and/or accounting qualifications and certifications are desirable
