Job Description
Ecolab is seeking a Logistics Supervisor to join and lead a hardworking team of associates at our San Bernardino location. As a Logistics Team Leader you will ensure safety quality and productivity metrics are met while leading various process improvement projects and participating in crossfunctional teams on warehouse and network design initiatives.
Position Details:
- This position is located at:
San Bernardino CA - Work Week and Shift:
3rd Shift SundayThursday 9:30pm to 6:00 am with occasional overtime as needed.

What You Will Do:
- Lead a team of 30 nonexempt associates holding them accountable to savings and productivity standards
- Oversee logistics activities including inventory control warehousing transportation logistics planning order processing and customer service
- Partner with crossfunctional teams in Quality Planning Procurement and Manufacturing to proactively identify and resolve quality and service issues relating to logistics operations
- Assist in developing the site logistics budget with a focus on continuously improving year over year performance against metrics
- Coordinate operational redesign projects to improve performance and meet customer needs
- Monitor fixed assets and coordinate implementation of approved capital improvement projects in your functional areas
- Communicate standard logistics metrics to direct reports
- Resolve quality service & cost issues
- Support oversight of inventory levels
- Additional Job Duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree OR High School Diploma or equivalent/GED and 4 years of experience in a manufacturing logistics or related environment
- 2 years of previous supervisory experience in a manufacturing or logistics environment
- Immigration sponsorship not available for this role
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Logistics Supply Chain Transportation Business or a related field of study
- Proficiency with SAP MS Access and Excel
- Previous project management experience
- Exposure to TPM and/or Lean Manufacturing principals
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to exercise independent judgement think critically and work well in crossfunctional teams
