Construction Supervisor - E&C
Hobbs New Mexico
11-month contract duration
Overview of the Role:
Join our clients dynamic construction team as a Construction Supervisor where youll serve as the critical field liaison ensuring project success through safety excellence quality oversight and environmental compliance. This role offers the opportunity to lead high-impact energy infrastructure projects while developing strong relationships with construction crews and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive field oversight for safety quality and environmental compliance
- Track daily production and progress (80% field time 20% administrative)
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with construction crews and contractors
- Monitor contractor performance and ensure adherence to specifications and schedules
- Conduct preconstruction planning including safety plan reviews and permit compliance
- Prepare accurate reports for management and maintain detailed project documentation
- Coordinate with environmental safety and technical teams as needed
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven construction supervision experience in energy/infrastructure projects
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Experience with safety protocols and environmental compliance (SWPPP)
- Proficiency in project tracking and reporting systems
- Valid drivers license with clean driving record
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work independently in field environments
