The School of Nursing is seeking parttime faculty to teach theoretical courses including didactic and/or skills laboratory courses in the following areas: Adult Medical/Surgical Public Community Health Maternal Child/Womens Heath Pediatrics and Psychiatric/Mental Health. Parttime instructor positions are available as determined by the departments curricular and institutional needs.
Responsibilities include preparation of lectures course materials examinations and evaluation of student performance in the course. Part time faculty may work under the direction of the lead faculty for the course and will hold office hours as appropriate.
Requirements to teach a didactic course include a Masters Degree in Nursing a minimum of two years relevant professional nursing experience within the last five years competence appropriate to teaching responsibilities and a current Massachusetts RN license
Previous teaching experience is highly desirable.
Start dates: May July September and January.
Seeking applicants with significant career accomplishments within subject area and college teaching experience in a large diverse higher education institution.
