Workflow Engineer
The Workflow Engineer will play a critical role in designing implementing and optimizing complex business processes to achieve operational efficiency and effectiveness. This position requires a combination of technical skills business acumen and a deep understanding of workflow systems. The workflow engineer is a subject matter expert and will work with business stakeholders to implement create and continuously improve process and integration with other internal business applications through JIRA service management with automation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and Implementation: Develop and implement efficient business process workflows in line with organizational goals. This includes mapping out current processes identifying bottlenecks or inefficiencies and designing optimized workflows in JIRA service management.
- Integrations: Implement and Integrate workflow triggers from various APIs plugins and webbooks.
- Collaboration: Work closely with various crossfunctional teams including IT operations and management to understand their workflow needs and challenges.
- Training and Support: Provide necessary training and support to endusers to ensure smooth adoption and operation of new workflow systems.
- Continuous Improvement: Continually monitor and analyze the effectiveness of implemented workflows making adjustments and improvements as necessary.
- Documentation: Document all processes updates and changes to workflow systems and ensure these documents are easily accessible and understandable to relevant teams.
Skills:
- Proven experience in workflow design and implementation preferably in a similar industry.
- Proficiency in workflow software such as JSM PowerAutomate Fabric
- Experience JIRA integrations such as plugins APIs and webooks
- Languages: JQL Python Java
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to identify and resolve complex workflow issues.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to clearly convey technical information to nontechnical stakeholders.
