Role: Head of Software
Location: Hybrid (Norfolk HQ 1 day/week)
Salary:DOE
Were working with a growing forwardthinking business to find an experienced and handson manager to lead their technical strategy and development efforts. This is a hybrid role requiring just one day per week in their Norfolk head office.
Reporting directly to the Managing Director and sitting on the leadership team youll play a key role in shaping the companys technology directionwhile continuing to contribute code. The role offers a 60/40 split between handson development and leadership responsibilities.
Youll manage a skilled team of developers and testers oversee Azure cloud migration and ensure the companys systems are secure scalable and aligned with best practice. Youll also support crossfunctional collaboration and provide technical insight at both strategic and operational levels.
What were looking for:
- 10 years in software development and 5 years in a technical leadership role
- Expertise in Microsoft technologies (C# Web Forms .NET Core JavaScript HTML)
- Proven experience in Microsoft Azure environments
- Strong knowledge of infrastructure cloud solutions and modern development practices
- Excellent communication and problemsolving skills
