Job Description:
We are seeking a diligent and detailoriented Stock Clerk to join our dynamic team in the fastpaced production environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately picking and supplying electrical components to various departments within the production floor ensuring a seamless manufacturing process. The Stock Clerk will play a crucial role in maintaining inventory levels organizing stock areas and contributing to the overall efficiency of the production operations.
Essential Functions:
- Accurately pick and deliver electrical components as per production requirements ensuring timely availability for assembly and manufacturing processes.
- Conduct regular inventory checks to maintain accurate stock levels and prevent production delays.
- Organize and maintain the storage area for electrical components ensuring a clean and safe work environment.
- Utilize inventory management software to track component usage reorder supplies and update inventory records.
- Collaborate with production team members to identify and resolve any discrepancies in component supplies.
- Follow all safety protocols and company policies while handling electrical components and equipment.
- Assist in receiving and unloading new stock shipments verifying quantities and ensuring quality of components received.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize stock handling procedures and reduce waste.
- Review MRP output of safety stock items to ensure accuracy of requirements and release planned purchase orders to Purchasing based on material requirements.
- Expedite component requirements with Purchasing.
- Participate in Lean Six Sigma improvement projects.
Qualifications:
- Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years postSecondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Preference will be given to candidates with3 years of recent experience in a related field.
- Experience with anenterprise resource planning (ERP) system is a plus (LNpreferred).
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Accurate neat and computer literate.
- Abilityto lift 50 pounds with assistance.
In compliance with pay transparency requirements the salary range for this role in California State is $20.43/hr $38.22/hr. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
