Job Description
Job Summary:
Cronin Ford North is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Parts Counter Apprentice. In this role you will work alongside experienced Parts Sales Representatives to learn the ins and outs of the dealerships parts department. This is a fulltime hourly position that requires excellent customer service skills and a passion for the automotive industry. The ideal candidate will receive handson training and have the opportunity to grow within the company.
Compensation & Benefits:
The position offers a competitive hourly wage of $16 to $18 paid semimonthly. In addition employees have access to a variety of benefits including health insurance retirement plans and employee discounts.
Responsibilities:
Meet and greet technicians/customers assist with their parts needs and provide exceptional customer service.
Receive and fill orders for parts and accessories while ensuring accuracy and quality.
Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the parts department.
Learn and familiarize yourself with the dealerships inventory management system.
Work collaboratively with the parts sales team and other departments to meet customer needs.
Assist with inventory counts and restocking shelves.
Keep uptodate with product knowledge and stay informed on new or updated parts.
Drive occasionally to vendors and other dealerships to pick up/drop off parts
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Prior experience in a customer service or retail environment preferred.
Passion for the automotive industry.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask and work in a fastpaced environment.
Basic computer knowledge and proficiency.
Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
Must be available to work some Saturdays.
