Position Summary
Were hiring a fulltime Mechanic to join our Coatesville Pennsylvania team. Youll be keeping our fleet of sweeper trucks trailers landscaping equipment and mediumduty trucks running smoothly. If youre sharp with diagnostics confident around electricoverhydraulic systems and prefer tools over office work this is your kind of job.
What Youll Be Doing
Diagnose repair and maintain fleet vehicles and outdoor service equipment
Troubleshoot electricoverhydraulic systems (pumps actuators controls)
Perform regular preventative maintenance
Keep clear records of inspections repairs and parts
Order necessary parts and manage shop supplies
Respond to onsite equipment issues (limited local travel as needed)
Work safely and help keep our workspace clean and organized
What Were Looking For
5 years experience as a mechanic (fleet heavy equipment or diesel preferred)
Strong knowledge of electricoverhydraulic systems
Proficient with diagnostic tools meters and repair equipment
Diesel and gas engine experience required
Valid drivers license Class A CDL required
Welding/fabrication skills a plus
Selfstarter who takes pride in clean professional work
Physical Requirements
Able to lift 75 lbs
Comfortable working outside yearround
Able to stand kneel and move around equipment as needed
