Job Description
Position Title:
Strapper Operator 3rd Shift
Pay Rate:
$19.61/hr
Sign on Bonus:
$500 after 30 days
$500 after 6 months
Retention Bonus:
$500 after 1 year
Additional lump sum after 2 years

The Job You Will Perform:
- Measure unit making sure load tag matches
- Scan unit entering in ULT system
- Prepare dunnage for unit strapping protection
- Thread strapping material through strapper
- Set strapper tension
- Set controls for number of straps per unit
- Maintain pace of machine for efficient running
- Restack units when necessary
- Communicate mechanical issues with supervisor
- Assist Tally Operators as needed
- Operator must wear all required personal protective equipment
- Operator must be proficient in using/reading tape measure and safe use of utility knife.
- Operator must keep work areas clean and free of debris including keeping floor clean of sheets
- Operator must be able to safely lift/move up to 50 lbs. during regular work shift.
- Operator must follow lockout/tagout procedures.
- Counting and stacking finished product
- Reading orders
The Skills You Will Bring:
- Warehouse and/or manufacturing experience
- Stable and verifiable work history
- Ability to read write and speak English
- Ability to read a measuring tape and ruler
